Comments on Ernie Clare by Bennett Colp's son

 

Ernie Clare worked for the old Department of Transport after coming from England originally. I think he may have been with Marconi. He reportedly had a deal when he was hired that upon retirement, the Govt. of Canada would move him and his family anywhere in the former British Commonwealth. They stayed in Dartmouth. Ernie also was posted at Nottingham Island at the entrance to Hudson Bay. Ernie also was posted at Nottingham Island at the entrance to Hudson Bay.
