Retirement - Bruce Genery
After 33 years of service with the Government of Canada, Bruce Genery will be
retiring on July 31, 2007.
Bruce began work with the Department of Communications on June 3, 1974 as a
Radio Inspector Recruit working for the Toronto District office. He transferred
to the Hamilton District office in September 1985, and presently works for
Industry Canada from the Central and Western Ontario District Office work
location in Burlington, Ontario. Bruce has most recently been working on
responding to FCC and NTIA COSERS. We have over the years relied very much upon
Bruce's knowledge and experience on a wide range of subjects, and have
appreciated his willingness to help others. This, together with his friendly
nature and humour will be very much missed around the office.
We wish Bruce Best Wishes and a Happy Future ahead.
As Bruce intends to take the month of July off as leave, we are planning an
early retirement luncheon for Bruce, to be held at the Burlington office, on
Thursday June 21, 2007. Further details will be provided.
Sincerely,
Central and Western Ontario District Office - Management Team
