Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert,
former Director General at Industry Canada,
on Thursday, June 20th 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife Sarah; his
beloved son Jason; his sister Jean; his late brothers Jim and Tommy; his
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; his many nieces and nephews in Canada,
Ireland and England and his many good friends. Visitation will be on Saturday,
June 29th , 2024 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery
– 3700 Prince of Wales Dr., Nepean. Funeral service to follow in the Chapel 4:30
p.m. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. In lieu of
flowers, if wished, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The
Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
