It is with sadness the family of Reginald Garfield Webb announce the death of their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather on March 23, 2010 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Reg is survived by his loving wife Gladys Webb (nee Forrester), his children Andrew Webb, Reginald Webb Jr. and Susan of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Geraldine Webb-Young and Bernie of Regina, Saskatchewan. He will be missed by his grandchildren Andrea and Richard Macedo, Cory and Darren Storm, Jeffrey Webb, Michael Fleischhaker, Daniel and Kim Fleischhaker, Brienne Young and Ryan Young. His great-granddaughter Kate (Cory and Darren) and future great-grandchildren will learn of him through storytelling of the Webb family a trait Reg was a master of. Reg was predeceased by his parents Ernie and Edith, sisters Eunice Pommer and Phyllis Wintle and brothers Harry and Clifford Webb. He was born in Whitemouth, Manitoba April 26, 1927 to parents Ernest and Edith Webb, district pioneers whose history traces back to United Empire Loyalist stock in Nova Scotia in the 1770s.

He received his education in Whitemouth and Cecil Rhodes High School in Winnipeg. Reg enlisted in the RCAF during the Second World War and served as a Radio Operator Ground (WOG), an association he continued in the RCAF Reserve, Winnipeg after the war. After a number of years as a sales representative for G. H. Wood and Company and VioBin (Can) LTD, Reg returned to his first love radio telecommunications by joining the Department of Transport Telecommunications Branch in 1961. After serving at various locations he was Flight Services Area Operations Supervisor for Churchill, Manitoba and Saskatoon. He became Air Traffic Services Sector Manager, Saskatchewan Flight Services in 1984, a position he held until retirement in 1990.

Reg began his Royal Canadian Legion association as Branch Secretary in 1947 and later became Branch President in Broadview Saskatchewan. His association with the Masonic Order began when he was raised as a Master Mason in Broadview in 1963. After Masonic associations in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Churchill, Manitoba, and Lynn Lake, Manitoba, he became Master of Rosthern Duck Lake Lodge #13 in 1980. He was an active member of the Valley of Saskatoon Scottish Rite and served as TPGM of the Lodge of Perfection. He became a member of Khartum Temple of the Shrine, Winnipeg in 1969. Reg accomplished many things in his life but he was most proud of his family. Goodbye Dad. Thanks for the memories. At Reg's request, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place and his remains will be interred in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon after a family graveside service.
